Born 25 May 1957 in Haripad, Kerala, MG Sreekumar is one of Indian cinema's most celebrated playback singers. With a career spanning 44+ extraordinary years, he has sung over 3,500 songs across Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi — including the most iconic songs of Malayalam superstar Mohanlal.

A Padma Shri awardee, two-time National Film Award winner, three-time Kerala State Award winner, and founder of KMG Musics and the Saregama School of Music. In October 2024 he was appointed Director of the UAE Government's Music Academy. His live concerts are legendary events. His voice is the soul of an era.
